I founded Woven Wonders in 2009. This is a long-awaited dream come true to shape my passion for textiles into my own ‘Home Couture’ line.

The Woven Wonders line is distinguished by unique jacquard woven designs that I use, among other things on tapestries, throws, cushions and wallpaper.

Colour, design and tactility come together in a unique form. Tapestries are like woven paintings and have the added value of acoustic improvement in interiors.

Creative process

it all starts with finding inspiration in nature. This is done by observing landscapes, plants, flowers, animals or other elements in nature. Nature photography during every walk in or outside the city, making watercolours and digital image editing of the selection of images are among the wide variety of possibilities in this creative process. The aim is to capture the essence of the natural elements in patterns, textures or colour schemes suitable for interior textiles. The choice of the right materials, such as various types of yarns and the selection of the colors for the weft yarns play an important role in creating the desired texture and appearance.

Inspiration of Nature

Source of inspiration Nature is the most important source of inspiration for me. I love the versatile decorative elements found in trees and flowers, but also the visual stimulation and tranquility that nature gives me. I photograph and paint nature and then translate these images into my textile designs for Woven Wonders.
